Scraping in (the) West Seattle (Herald)

Blackbird Painter, Teame, scraping a fascia board. Photo Steve Shay
A photographer from the West Seattle Herald caught one of our painters preparing fascia board in West Seattle, then posted it here.

For this job we scraped, sanded, primed, and painted the fascia around the top of a West Seattle apartment building.
Wrapping up in Wallingford

We are wrapping up a 7 unit exterior in Wallingford. Three colors matched the existing scheme and gave a protective coating before the autumn rains.
We used Parker Paint Flextron flat latex on the siding and soffits, Parker Overall satin latex on the trim and Parker Park Ave semi-gloss oil on the doors.
Oh, we’ve been busy!
And haven’t posted. Eek. Since June we have…
Turned apartments.
Completed a Condo exterior repaint.
Patched some leak damage.
Pressure washed.
Painted doors.
Completed private home exteriors.
And turned some more apartments!
Let us know if you need any of these services!!
Smoke Damage…
We are painting a unit recently vacated by a smoker. More than just the smell, ciagarettes can leave tabacco residue on the walls, making it hard to cover with just paint. To prevent bleed-through, we apply a good coat of Zinsser B-I-N Shellac Base Primer under our Parker paint. Stinky stuff, but it keeps the smoke damage sealed up.
Flying in to West Seattle

The crew is descending on a West Seattle Rental house for a full interior repaint.
Look for our signs while driving around town. We post them in windows (of Apartments) or the yard (of Houses).
